Versioning.

The protocol versions by date, pinned per key. Send MD-Version: 2026-06-11 on every request; omit it and your key is pinned to the version current at first call.

What never changes

Endpoint paths, event names, error codes, and the three domain gates are locked invariants under merge plan MD-MERGE-2026-001. Breaking changes to anything else ship only under a new date version with a migration note in the changelog.

Lineage

The surface re-homed byte-stable from the Kinetic Systems API on 2026-06-11. Integrations written against the Kinetic surface map 1:1 — same paths, same envelopes, new host.

Machine-readable spec

The full surface ships as a validated OpenAPI 3.1 document: openapi.yaml — 103 operations, 32 webhooks, 60 scopes. Gateway-native (Zuplo/AWS ready).
